Scotch College Boarders Retreat
This project was located within the grounds of Scotch College in Hawthorn Melbourne, which as itwas established in 1851 is the oldest secondary college in Victoria. The architects Cox Architecturehad been engaged to redevelop an older part of the schoolinto a retreat for the boarders and theirfamilies to spend time. Combining the historic existing building with modern additions, ourcraftsmanship went on to be a major feature within the redevelopment.
Construction was by Building Engineering Pty Ltdand we had a very tight timeframe for thiscommercial project. As always we delivered, in conjunction with our great suppliers, a beautifulbespoke, handcrafted Ironbark roof that is sure to inspire generations of students and their familiesat the prestigious Melbourne College.
