Wombat House
During the summer of 2019/20 the original Wombat House was destroyed by bushfires. We were commissioned to rebuild the entire house and managed to utilise some of the pine trees killed by the fire as structural members within the main room.
A simple design was chosen for this weekender in the bush but robust construction was needed to ensure any future bushfires didn’t have the same result.
We ended up winning a Master Builders Association of NSW award for the best design and build house in its category.
